Try Scuba Diving for the first time, no experience needed!


The PADI Discover Scuba Dive at Jan Thiel Diving is a fun, relaxed, and safe 2 to 3 hour introduction to scuba diving, perfect for beginners, students, interns, and anyone curious to explore Curaçao’s underwater world.


You’ll start with a short and easy theory session with one of our friendly PADI professionals, where you’ll learn the basics and get comfortable with real dive gear. After that, we hop in the dive bus and head to one of Curaçao’s calm shore-dive locations. In shallow water, you’ll practice a few simple skills before making your first real dive on a vibrant reef filled with colorful corals, tropical fish, and marine life.


There’s no certification required — just good vibes, clear water, and our crew. t’s an unforgettable experience that might even spark your next big hobby.

- Minimum age: 10 years. Not 10 yet? Check out the Bubblemaker program! Starting from the age of 8. 

- Certain medical conditions and medications may preclude you from diving, for advice contact us and check the PADI Medical Questionnaire.

- Flying and Diving – You will not be able to dive if you are flying within 12 hours or if doing two dives, 18 hours.
